Duties

Monitor/update usage and stock levels and other requisitioning controls to eliminate excess inventory and sustain production requirements. Purify Final Consumption Report comparing items received and used versus items on hand. Recommend use of substitute or interchangeable parts, assemblies, or components to reduce cost, problems in supply/procurement of original items. Process Financial Liability Investigations for Property Loss (FLIPL) on government property which may be lost, damaged or destroyed through conditions other than normal wear and tear. Review completed inventories and conducts causative research to identify and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Direct and schedules inventories by responsible personnel for both standard and sensitive government property in accordance with regulatory requirements. Maintain records that show current value of property record, item identification, authorization, on-hand balances, property condition, and location of designated property. Assign responsibilities to the Primary Hand Receipt Holder (PHRH) and ensures that change of inventory is performed upon newly assigned duties. Monitor and maintain the installation property accountability program.

• Obtain and maintain a Government Motor Vehicle Operator's Identification Card (OF 346).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently, more with assistance.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual physical examinations.
• A National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Background Investigation is required.
• Temporary duty travel up to 25% may be required.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Supply Management, or Logistics. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
