About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Supply & Services Division, Log Readiness Ctr, Ft Sill, OK

Duties

Serves as Branch Chief for the Central Issue Facility (CIF) and Clothing Initial Issue Point (CIIP). Responsible for ensuring accountability of property and correct maintenance of automated property records. Works directly for the Chief, Supply and Services Division, LRC Provides guidance in the following areas: operations and maintenance of an automated system; receipt, warehouse storage and issue of clothing and equipment; authorization, issue, lateral transfer and turn-in of clothing and equipment

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires to be able to possess or obtain and maintain a T1 security clearance.
  • This position may require the incumbent to travel TDY up to 10% of the times
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually thereafter
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed

Conduct quality control inspections to minimize errors in inventory. 2. Utilize automated supply systems to track the location of equipment. 3. Update property record to reconcile transactions. AND 4. Distribute workload to ensure maximum utilization of manpower. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.(NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.(NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.) You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementManaging Human ResourcesSupply Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
