Duties

Serves as Branch Chief for the Central Issue Facility (CIF) and Clothing Initial Issue Point (CIIP). Responsible for ensuring accountability of property and correct maintenance of automated property records. Works directly for the Chief, Supply and Services Division, LRC Provides guidance in the following areas: operations and maintenance of an automated system; receipt, warehouse storage and issue of clothing and equipment; authorization, issue, lateral transfer and turn-in of clothing and equipment

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires to be able to possess or obtain and maintain a T1 security clearance.
• This position may require the incumbent to travel TDY up to 10% of the times
• Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually thereafter
• This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.(NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18.
