You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist in the S3/Operations Directorate of HQ US MARINE CORPS. This position is located in Quantico, VA. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

Duties

You will conduct evaluations of intelligence analysis production for compliance with ODNI and USMC analytic standards. You will demonstrate an expert understanding and utility of Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) 203/206/208. You will facilitate analytic efforts within the command through the facilitation of Structured Analytic Techniques and the analytic design process. You will review and update USMC policies and doctrine relevant to intelligence analysis tradecraft.

Requirements

• You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.

• This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period.
• This position requires periodic polygraph examination.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising and providing support to analysts, analytic reviewers and supervisors, on ways to improve the quality of analysis; 2) Conducting evaluations of products for compliance with Intelligence Community Directive 203 on Analytic Standards; 3) Facilitating use of structured analytic techniques and analytic or research design processes; 4) Developing methods or approaches, identifying best practices, and developing training resources for analysis; 5) Collaborating with external partners in working groups.
