About the Position: This position is located in the Maneuver Support Capability Development Integration Directorate, Army Futures Command, Fort Leonard Wood, MO.
This position is covered by a Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Project. This position covered by this vacancy announcement is a part of STRL Demo Pay Band III Category 2 (GS13/14 equivalent)
Duties
Serve as principle Directorate project coordination officer.
Provide technical expertise, supervision and management to the Maneuver Support (MS) Capability Development Integration Directorate (CDID).
Integrate MS and Protection Concept Development, Capability Development, and Capability integration including DOTMLPF requirements, POM, and SPAR IAW the Army Modernization Guidance/Strategy, and other authoritative documentation.
Plan, gather and analyze data developed from the MS CDID, and MSCoE Proponent Schools up to the Joint levels.
Synchronize the integration between concepts and DOTMLPF requirements with MSCoE Proponents, AFC, FCC, CCDC, the S and T community, TRADOC, HQDA staffs and other agencies.
Analyze the Army Modernization Strategy, Army Modernization Guidance and other Joint and Army strategic plans for MS and Protection related equities for inclusion in the MS CDID command guidance/priorities.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance.
- Must submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering position and annually thereafter.
- Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A two year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: administering Capability Development and Materiel System Programs; analyzing concept and doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership, personnel and facility requirements for Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Proponents and the Army; conducting comprehensive studies; leading projects; coordinating operations in a complex environment; synchronizing efforts for meeting program goals; presenting findings to high level personnel and writing detailed white papers, briefings and other correspondence. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower pay band or equivalent grade/level position in the federal service (DE 02/GS-12 or above).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
