About the Position: This position is located at U.S. Army MSCoE, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is an hour's drive West of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Works under the general supervision of the Director, Fielded Force Integration Directorate and Deputy to the Commanding General/Senior Executive Service . Senior Civilian responsible person for the refinement, integration, and implementation of DOT, materiel, Leader Development and Education, Personnel, Facilities and Policy force modernization solutions that deliver fielded force capabilities. Sets the conditions for the development and programming of future force capabilities. Ensures that MSCoE school and center modernization efforts and DOTmLPF–P integration are synchronized in support of the Army Modernization Strategy and Army Modernization Enterprise. Supports U.S. Army Futures Command in force design and force development efforts that deliver future concepts, persistent experimentation, requirements, and conceptual organizational designs based on assessment of the future operating environment. Incumbent keeps the FFID Director and DtCG/SES informed of progress and recommends solutions to fielded force problems which deviate from established policies, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R and must pass a urinalysis test as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • The employee will be required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Disclosure Report upon entering the position
  • and annually, in accordance with DOD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 30 August 1993.
  • This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 30% of the time.
