Duties
Responsible for formulating, developing, planning, presenting, executing and controlling appropriated and reimbursable fund programs for the Agency operating budget.
Analyzes and interprets budgetary policies and guidance from the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) in formulating and developing DCAA's budget submissions in support of the audit mission, programs, and objectives.
Prepares Budget submissions and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) to reflect Agency outyear staffing and funding requirements.
Serves as a Senior Budget Analyst in preparing presentation of Agency budget estimates to management, OSD, OMB, and Congress.
Advises management regarding procedures and methods to be used for budget formulation/execution, and resolves problems on interpretation of DoD and DCAA policy and guidance.
Responsible for monitoring assigned portion of agency funds availability, distribution, justification, and adjustment. Provides management with status reports concerning financial trends and resource utilization.

Qualifications
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

Specialized Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume.Specialized experience is defined as: performing a variety of analytical and technical budget functions, i.e., budget formulation, justification, presentation, execution, and review of financial status for the agency..
