About the Position: Primary responsibility to assist management in developing and identifying near and long-range plans to meet Installation Management Command (IMCOM) supply and service contract requirements.
Duties
Establish requirements for all Contract Requirement Package input to meet timely and technical requirements of assigned acquisitions.
Establish and maintain controls to ensure that contract award is accomplished according to guidelines and timelines.
Work with various personnel to resolve problems occurring during established procurement phase.
Establish schedules and milestones, expedites requirement processes and troubleshoots various setbacks or delays.
Collect quantitative and qualitative data in significant areas relating it to procurement and contract operations.
Analyze data and draws conclusions based on previous performance, currentgoals and objectives, projected performances, and possible impact on the acquisition program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting management with development of plans to meet supply and service contract requirements; coordinating with staff and key management regarding review and reporting process; and planning complete life cycle of complex contracts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
