You will serve as a Supervisory Property Manager in the General Equipment, Property, Policy and Reporting Branch of CNSSC OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FIELD.

Duties

Evaluate Plant, Property, and Equipment (PPE) program operations and develop recommendations on the need for procedural changes and/or additional controls to assure quality, security and timeliness of products and services. Monitor cyclic inventory processes to ensure all property is inventoried in accordance with current directives. Prepare monthly PPE Management Reports and summary metric data. Represent NAVSUP on DON asset management working groups. Research the scope and impact of proposed PPE System changes in order to provide input/recommendations to management.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates knowledge, skills or abilities to perform duties of a Supervisory Property Manager. Specialized experience required for this position requires experience in planning, organizing, operating and applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of processes and procedures employed in the management of a Property Plant and Equipment Program. Experience must demonstrate applying a knowledge of property systems, categories of property and federal standards for personal property inventory and financial management relevant to resolving issues and providing advice to senior managers. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following duties: 1) Evaluate Plant, Property, and Equipment (PPE) program operations and develop recommendations on the need for procedural changes and/or additional controls to assure quality, security and timeliness of products and services; 2) Monitor cyclic inventory processes to ensure all property is inventoried in accordance with current directives; 3) Prepare monthly PPE Management Reports and summary metric data; 4) Represent NAVSUP on DON asset management working groups; and 5) Research the scope and impact of proposed PPE System changes in order to provide input/recommendations to management.
