You will serve as a GG-0132-13 All-Source Intelligence Specialist within the Naval Technology Protection Branch in the Integrated Warfare Assessments Department at the Office of Naval Intelligence. The Selectee is responsible for producing all-source analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, and dissemination of products related to naval technology and technology transfer. This position is located in Suitland, MD.
Duties
You will serve as an intelligence specialist providing technical advice on a wide range of complex analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, or dissemination of information and/or products relative to an assigned area(s).
You will collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate and integrate complex data from multiple sources in assessing the relevance and significance of developments in assigned area(s), and in preparing new or revising prior intelligence products.
You will identify intelligence gaps, specifies collection requirements to fill gaps, and develops analytical tools and methodologies to cope with the gaps.
You will maintain liaison with personnel in other intelligence agencies, laboratories, services, and allied foreign governments to discuss production requirements and provide information.
You will present and defend activity positions or issues in area(s) of expertise.
You will, as required, serve as team leader for assigned area(s).
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period.
- This position requires periodic polygraph examinations.
- Some travel may be required (within/outside US.)
- Shift work may be required (24hr/7-day, rotating shifts from 9 to 13 hours.)
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
