This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Strategy, Performance, and Governance Section of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the development of the FDIC Strategic Plan and Division Annual Performance Plan.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Grade 13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in all the following areas: 1) Applying principles, methods, laws and regulations of budgeting practices to support an organization's plans and requirements; 2) Generating reports from automated financial systems for financial analysis; and 3) Gathering and assembling workforce data to provide performance and budgetary reports analysis.
Grade 14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in all the following areas 1) Identifying potential issues or determining alternate solutions for issues within an organization’s budget program (such as from preparation, justification, submission, or implementation); 2) Developing customized reports from automated financial systems related to an organization’s budget performance; and 3) Analyzing workforce data to monitor trends and predict staffing needs for an organization.
