You will serve as an EOD SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT PUBLICATIONS/PROCEDURES TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER of the PUBLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT BRANCH or PROCEDURES DEVELOPMENT BRANCH in the EOD INFORMATION MANAGEMENT DIVISION of the EOD DEPARTMENT of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $153,354).
Duties
You will direct and perform analytical and technical project manager duties leading the development of EOD publications or procedures used by service members and law enforcement personnel to help mitigate explosive hazards.
You will direct the analysis, evaluation, interpretation and dissemination of EOD-related information.
You will assemble input from a variety of sources into coherent reports/assessments which can include making determinations on the validity and reliability of the explosive ordnance information.
You will analyze and apply critical judgment to answer explosive ordnance requests for information to support the Joint EOD community and law enforcement personnel.
You will lead and work as a member of a dynamic team with continuous challenges and changing priorities.
You will establish and control milestones, schedules, budgets and costs to ensure project success.
You will manage projects throughout entire period of performance to ensure that all deliverables are completed within agreed to timelines for meeting customer deliverables.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating explosive ordnance (e.g. IEDs, WMD, or other hazardous materials) data to develop publications and procedures to render safe or ensure proper disposal of explosive material in support of the warfighter or law enforcement personnel.
