You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST within NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.

Duties

You will serve as a liaison with the Manpower and Human Resource Office (HRO) and perform a variety of technical work involved in the study, analysis, evaluation, development, or improvement of managerial policies, practices, methods and procedures. You will plan, organize, direct, and complete special studies involving current needs in areas such as simplification and reinvention, organizational design, workforce management planning, and management development. You will review and analyze staffing patterns based upon mission, organization, workload, and priorities and recommend improvements, adjustments and/or corrective action, as required, in manpower requirements, allocations, and organization structure. You will determine military and civilian personnel requirements and develop justifications on strength, type of personnel, organizational structure, and operational changes. You will prepare reports, memos, charts, statistics, and PowerPoint slide presentations to present information to managers. You will Initiate, monitor, and track all requests for personnel actions (RPA) for the Command.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing knowledge of manpower and workforce management policies, rules, regulations, and principles in support of Command requirements. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Planning, organizing, analyzing, evaluating, and resolving business management and customer service problems; 2) Utilizing databases to manage manpower requirements, analyze allocations, and evaluate utilization to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources; 3) Conducting organizational studies and presenting findings and recommendations to upper management; and 4) Utilizing knowledge of Naval Supply System Command (NAVSUP) programs, missions, and functions to conduct staffing requirements.
