The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Administrative Assistant to AFMCLO staff and clients providing complex administrative support, to include task management, Financial Disclosure Programs, and various administrative unit assignments and programs.
Duties
Organize Financial Disclosure Reports. AFMCLO liaison to the Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB) Financial Disclosure OGE Form 450 and OGE Form 278 programs.
Administer unit programs. Manage the AFMCLO Personnel Security and Workforce Safety programs by developing goals and objectives that implement DoD, DAF, AFMC, and WPAFB personnel security and workforce safety programs into the AFMCLO.
Unit management support. Prepare, create, organize, and process reports, metrics, charts, graphs, monetary computations, exhibits, memorandum, and statistics to be used by AFMCLO attorneys in litigating cases, answering legal questions, or making legal determinations.
Perform administrative and clerical duties. Administer the Defense Travel System (DTS); makes travel arrangements, such as scheduling transportation, making reservations, and preparing travel orders and vouchers, based on general travel intentions, known preferences of traveler, and in accordance with appropriate travel regulations.

- May be required to work other than normal duty hours in the performance of the job; overtime may be required on an unscheduled or emergency basis
- May be required to function as a Notary Public. Must be able to satisfactorily complete training to become a Notary Public and be able to meet bonding or other requirements inherent in the appointment as a Notary Public
- May be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
- Applicants must have skills as a qualified typist, a minimum of 40 WPM proficiency. Applicant must upload an authorized proficiency certificate or self-certify proficiency in the assessment tool

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-01, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience in work processes and procedures of the administrative fields and the knowledge of extensive rules, procedures, and operations of clerical assignments such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, graphs, presentations, brochures and mass produced advertising.
NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Sound knowledge, whether by education or experience, to perform the administrative work of the organization such as: organizing, preparing, processing, reviewing, and editing documents, reports, correspondence, and statistics; maintenance of files and records; assembling information for various types of documents and reports; and formats and directives regarding preparation of memorandums to produce official documents and communications.
Skill with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases to prepare memorandums, reports, and statistical analysis.
Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and procedural requirements to ensure workforce compliance with financial disclosure, records management, defense travel, personnel security, training, award recognition, and workplace safety.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to conduct oneself in a collegial and professional manner.
Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance for this position.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
