You will serve as a GG-0132-14 Supervisory Intelligence Specialist at HQ US MARINE CORPS in Quantico, VA. As the Operations Planning Deputy Division Head at Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), you will oversee command-wide operations with direct responsibility to plan, coordinate, and direct MCIA operations to deliver intelligence in support of policy makers, the force development enterprise, and warfighters in the current and future operating environment.
Duties
You will fuse command priorities against command capacity to achieve the commander's intent and plan, coordinate, and synchronize long-term tasks on behalf of the command.
You will serve as Operation Planning Team (OPT) lead through the Marine Corps Planning Process, on behalf of the Operations Officer, with all staff directorates and equity holders to achieve unity of effort and unified action.
You will oversee and direct the activities of the Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Enterprise (MCISR-E) Enterprise Coordination Center (ECC), to include both civilian and military members.
You will oversee and direct the activities of the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity's Integration Branch and the Enterprise Collection Management Branch.
You will ensure the synchronization of future and current operations to ensure executive support to Force Design events, wargames, executive-level conferences, and other events hosted at Marine Corps Intelligence Activity.
You will be responsible for justification, direction, and allocation of resources.
You will plan, direct, assign, lead, and monitor work; hire or select employees; manage and appraise employee performance; discipline employees; resolve employee complaints; and support employee development.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period.
- Occasional travel required for contingency / exercise support, briefings, conferences and training.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as:
1. Plan, coordinate, and synchronize long-term tasks on behalf of the organization.
2. Oversee and direct the activities of the organization to ensure the synchronization of future and current operations.
3. Direct the development of tools and procedures to increase the organization's exposure and impact throughout the U.S. Intelligence Community.
4. Justify, direct, and allocate resources; plan, direct, assign, lead, and monitor work; hire or select employees; manage and appraise employee performance; and support employee development.
