You will serve as a RESOURCES ASSISTANT in the SEA RANGE SUPPORT DIVISION, POINT MUGU SEA RANGE DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Duties
You will act as a lead Purchase Card Holder by mentoring junior card holders and make recommendations.
You will perform operational and hands-on processing of office support duties and the ability to give guidance and follow directions and carry out established work procedures.
You will enter budgetary information into the procurement system, reconcile purchase card payments by verifying expenses charged are accurate, break down costs by the appropriate accounting object class code and resolve billing discrepancies.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
Qualifications
GS-07
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following related duties: 1) Demonstrating experience with utilizing a government purchase card; 2) Researching, providing quotes, estimates and making recommendations for purchases; 3) Understanding and interpreting standardized operating procedures and policies; 4) Maintaining distribution list, organization charts, and muster list; 5) Demonstrating experience with Sharepoint, Fusion, and JIRA software.
GS-06
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
