You will serve as a Resources Assistant in the Spectrum Warfare Department, Multi-Spectral EW Systems Division supporting the Multi-Spectral Defensive Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Support Activity (MDEWSSA) of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties

You will provide administrative/management services to MDEWSSA, including front office staff for continued mission success of the work force. You will provide support to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and serve as a staff liaison in the area of administration/audit/procurement management. You will generate forms and templates ensuring branding is consistent between products (e.g., presentation materials, document templates). You will prepare presentation materials from rough draft input data, coordinate reviews with the product teams and leadership, and provide final copy for distribution/delivery. You will support major milestone meetings (teleconference and video-teleconference) through logistical coordination such as scheduling, capturing and publishing minutes and action items. You will support process improvement and continuous improvement through document editing and formatting functions.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing general office support by following documented procedures and rules, scheduling meetings, tracking and reporting on tasking progress, and effectively documenting work in an organized structure; 2) Preparing and processing travel orders and vouchers in Defense Travel System (DTS); 3) Performing general administrative data analysis functions related to the collection, compilation, and/or tracking of data and program information; 4) Utilizing Microsoft Office Applications to create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and manage emails.
