Duties
You will monitor, coordinate, and execute appropriate actions in furtherance of the NCIS Family Liaison Program.
You will monitor, coordinate, and evaluate death investigations conducted by various NCIS offices to ensure the families of deceased active duty USN and USMC service members are provided information and appropriate assistance from NCIS.
You will provide support to field offices conducting a death investigation by providing guidance on engaging with family members of deceased Service members in relevant areas.
You will notify and coordinates with the appropriate Casualty Service Office when an investigation is initiated.
You will review pending and closed investigations and extracts pertinent data to accomplish prescribed duties.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Knowledge of, and skill in, interacting with people under pressure/stress from traumatic events with emphasis on ways/means of engaging with grieving family members.
GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Knowledge of, and skill in, program management including program management principles and methods to comply with Program guidelines, plan and carry out programmatic assignments and recommend, develop and implement modified or new Program approaches and procedures.
