About the Position: This is an Administrative Support Assistant (OA), GS-0303-7 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Little Rock District, Operations Division, located in Little Rock, AR.
Duties
Review records of subordinate organizations to insure property records are accurate.
Prepare travel and training requests in the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS).
Prepare purchase requests to include tracking receipts of supplies and services, and maintaining a complete audit trail for transactions which expend government funds.
Assist the Administrative Officer on personnel actions and issues affecting the Division.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing 2 out of 3 of the following duties: 1) Preparing purchase requests to include tracking an audit trail of government funds OR 2) Administering purchase of supplies such as equipment, and services using the Government Purchase Card (GPC) or similar card OR 3) Performing administrative support duties such as personnel administration and property record management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
