You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the National Caiptal Region (NCR) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will serve as the Directives Program Management Analyst under the direct supervision of the Directives Officer, HQMC (ARDB).
You will be responsible for the administration of policies, procedures, regulations, and effective use of automated technologies to support work processes for the Directives Management Program Marine Corps-wide.
You will plan and monitor meetings with ARDB section to collaborate on joint interests or procedures, regulations, and directives proposed by higher authority establishing USMC positions.
You will perform formatting functions on directives in process and recommend functional requirements to the Directives Officer to automate the directives work process.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level GS-09 or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Analyzing, interpreting, and implementing high authority policies to assist in decision making for organizational development, office automation, and efficiency of operations; 2) Executing Directive Review Process procedures, regulations, and directions to ensure adequacy, format, and content utilizing practical knowledge of organizational work processes, analytical techniques, and regulatory requirements; 3) Examining directives management policies, practices, and methods impacting operations utilizing practical knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements related to information management, directives management, privacy, access, records security controls, admissibility of documentary evidence, and ethical/professional conduct; and 4) Preparing and delivering findings reports and briefs to senior management to facilitate understanding and acceptance of recommended improvements to work processes.
GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level GS-07 or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Analyzing and evaluating administrative policies and procedures to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness; 2) Conducting analysis studies and surveys of work functions and processes to recommend improvements to management; and 3) Preparing reports to summarize analysis findings for management.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
GS-09:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
