You will serve as a Supervisory Intelligence Specialist with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. This job will close when we have received 50 applications which may be sooner than the closing date.

Duties

You will serve as Division Chief responsible for managing the analytical activities and personnel assigned, including Strategic Protective Intelligence, DoD Identity Matching Engine Security and Analysis (IMESA), and eGuardian. You will possess senior working-level knowledge of warning intelligence, protective intelligence, counterintelligence analysis, and counterterrorism. You will ensure effective integration of intelligence support, collection, and analysis. You will ensure that all intelligence support is properly documented and reviewed for quality assurance and related intelligence production is properly coordinated. You will engage DoD counterparts, DON intelligence and force protection personnel, the Intelligence Community, law enforcement counterparts, NCIS Field Offices, and NCIS seniors. You will focus on strategic protective intelligence and threats to DON equities as they relate to foreign intelligence, terrorism, cyber, criminal, and civil disturbance.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading the analysis and evaluation of complex threats crossing multiple geographic regions and disciplines. Leading the production of intelligence products related to the same.
