You will serve as a IT Specialist (INFODSEC) in the RDT&E Network of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs; detect and identify vulnerabilities and understand mitigation solutions
You will perform system testing to enhance systems security programs, design policies and procedures for network cybersecurity, and make decisions to enhance the enterprise network security posture.
You will manage and direct team members in conducting vulnerability scanning
You will collaborate with software development teams to establish common strategies and plans for enterprise software engineering designs.
You will participate in all cybersecurity inspections.
You will develop and implement programs to ensure that systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
NO-06:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, detect and identify vulnerabilities and perform system testing to enhance systems security programs, design policies and procedures for network cybersecurity.
NO-05:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, detect and identify vulnerabilities and perform system testing to enhance systems security programs, design policies and procedures for network cybersecurity.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
