You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the TACTICAL C2 INNOVATION, CODE 53531 DEPARTMENT of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will oversee government technical specialists, engineers and scientists supporting various projects in the Division.
You will perform and document necessary research, resulting in recommendations for employee growth and management.
You will plan, acquire, manage and allocate resources to oversee and support a wide range of associated management and planning activities on one or more complex projects throughout the entire life cycle.
You will maintain consistent and frequent dialogue with each employee in the branch, not only facilitating monitoring of individual performance and tasking, but also identifying and assigning training, providing coaching, and acting as an advocate.
You will advise, administer, or perform professional engineering work to include but not limited to design, development, analysis of computer hardware, systems, software and computer architecture.
You will administer, or perform professional and scientific work such as the application of, or research into computer science methods and techniques to store, manipulate, transform or present information by means of computer systems.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NM-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledgeable of the principles and concepts of government contract and procurement methods; knowledgeable of Systems Engineering of C2 systems and major platforms/weapon systems that employ Tactical Data Links and applying engineering concepts to complex systems of systems architectures; knowledgeable of IT systems processes, project management and cybersecurity; knowledge of personnel management processes (i.e. hiring, promotions, awards, etc.) and assessing employees' performance.
