About the Position: Serves as Administrative Officer for the Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management (G89) in the US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) and Office of the Surgeon General (OTSG).
Duties
Performs various administrative and office management duties and provides advice and guidance on overall organizational and administrative matters.
Develops analytical and statistical methods and techniques for reporting program trends and accomplishments.
Exercises delegated responsibility and authority to plan, schedule, assign, prioritize, explain, review and evaluate work performed by assigned personnel.
Requirements
- Able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance
- Up to 10% TDY may be required

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Education Subsutituion :
Successfully completed a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher- level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Business. (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts for verification).
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
