About the Position: This position serves as a Management and Program Analyst for the U.S. Army Material Command G-4 located at Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Duties

Evaluates and analyze various programs (Manpower, Training and COR) to make necessary adjustments, modifications, and revisions to meet mission and program objective. Formulates and recommends changes in procedures, practices, and techniques to accomplish desired results with a broad view toward obtaining maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Operates office automation equipment to access, research, and transmit various automated processing systems. The incumbent participates in important administrative management planning and policy development affecting the G-4 My Army Post Application (MAPA) Division staff.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
