This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certian Medical psotions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Serves as a Senior Health System Specialist for the Family Advocacy System of Record (FASOR) Program Management Office (PMO), Family Advocacy Program (FAP), HQ MEDCOM G-3/5/7, Office of The Surgeon General (OTSG).
Duties
Plans, organizes and conducts (or leads) efforts to analyze new (or changes to) FAP/FASOR requirements, policies, standards, and procedures and determines the resources and actions needed to deliver the capabilities or changes in FASOR.
Oversees all FASOR requirements to deliver fixes/changes and critical functionality to end users, customers and other agencies IAW FAP Laws, directives and policies.
Manages all FASOR training and testing activities and provides other support services for FASOR users and other authorized agencies across the Army.

- Up to 10% TDY may be required

Specialized experience is defined as: Provides both short- and long-term recommendations for improvements in end-to-end FAP/FASOR processes and increases in user awareness and comprehension of new/changed system workflow functionality. FASOR capabilities range from Incident Data Entry and case management to Fatality Review Committee capability to Executive Planning to Congressional, DoD and Army mandated reporting and background checks.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
