About the Position: This is a permanent position as a Budget Manager with the USAG Chaplain Corps Business Center at Fort Jackson, SC.
Duties
Serves as the Senior Program Manager (PM) for the IMCOM Religious Support Office (RSO).
Responsible for the oversight of all activities that support numerous business processes to include logistics, acquisition, operations and training, and resource management.
Performs the full range of supervisory duties.
Prepares formal evaluation of employees' performance.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) travel required approximately 25% of time.
- This position requires a Financial Management Certificate Level 2. The certificate must be obtain within 2 yrs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing budget data; managing funding for a district or major program; developing annual and long-range financial plans; providing guidance and recommendations on fiscal issues, and developing budget schedules and execution reports. . This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
