This position is located in the Office of Administration's Space and Facilities Management Staff (SFMS) , Executive Office for Immigration Review, U. S. Department of Justice. Incumbent oversees and manages real property, personal property, logistics and customer service with the General Services Administration and other federal and public entities. This is a Competitive Service position; additional positions may be filled from this announcement within 90 days of certificate issuance.

Duties include but are not limited to the following: Manages and leads an interdisciplinary team of professionals in real property operations and facility management and project delivery; Develops, implements, and maintains the business management policies and procedures to effectively and efficiently facilitate the delivery of services to customers. Directs the management and tracking of all aspects of on-going facility management. Provides authoritative advice to the Chief, SFMS on team priorities, planning, analysis and management of initiatives and responsibilities. Plans and coordinates the development of facility management requirements of EOIR space in field and headquarters locations.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for the Supervisor Facilities and Realty Management position, you must meet the following time in grade requirements and minimum qualifications: TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level. (Please submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. If your eligibility for both merit promotion and/or time-in-grade cannot be determined, your application will be rated ineligible. Please see Required Documents for additional information). Time-in-grade requirements also apply to VEOA applicants having held a GS position in the past year. AND FOR THE GS-14 LEVEL: Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one or more full-time years (12-months) of specialized work experience, equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, performing the following duties: Managing a real property program (space acquisition or facility management or project delivery) AND one of the following two duties: Developing policies/procedures that facilitate the delivery of services to customers; Advising senior leadership on facilities and realty management priorities, planning, and/or analysis.
