About the Position: This position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE), US Army Armor School, Ft. Benning, Georgia 31905. The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Public transportation and free parking are available.
Duties
Coordinate with staff, commanders and outside agencies regarding training and graduation requirements.
Independently plans, projects and controls scheduling of courses, training and support.
Research and interpret regulatory guidance and equipment requirements to determine training needs
Communicates in writing and by phone all training requirements in support of scheduled instructions.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. .
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) planning, coordinating, scheduling and projecting courses of instruction, and graduation support; 2) using automated training systems; AND 3) researching and interpreting a variety of regulatory guidance, resources and equipment requirements to determine training needs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
