You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the Requirements Branch (TRF-511), Control Division (TRF-510), in the Supply Department (TRF-500), TRIDENT Refit Facility (TRIREFFAC) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will conduct statistical samplings and workload measurement studies. You will communicate effectively orally and in writing. You will schedule and unscheduled audits and reconciliation on stock material processes and stock records. You will respond to incoming Supply Reports, received from outside activities related to company stocked items. You will process reviews to maintain currency of various processed and provide input related to known deficiencies.

• This is a bargaining unit position.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Information Technology (IT) certification Level: II
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Materials Handling Equipment (MHE).
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience maintaining all records for various types and conditions of materials to ensure good order and control of all strategic weapon system (SWS) repairables. Experience performing extensive research for discrepant records. Experience analyzing and solving technical supply support problems for SWS repairable items, including changing repair locations and expediting repairs. Experience preparing reports, correspondence, and managing the replenishment and maintenance of TRIREFFAC supply items.
