You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the *Quality Assurance Branch (TRF-512), Control Division (TRF-510), Supply Department (TRF-500) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will participate in the accomplishment of effective quality control program in support of command mission.
You will perform scheduled and unscheduled audits and reconciliation on stock material processes and stock records.
You will recommend and perform action to resolve discrepancies.
You will design lot and segment approach to reduce audit times.
You will carry out thorough and intensive research of discrepancies to facilitate reconciliation of supply transaction with record balances.
You will analyze and reconcile material and documentation discrepancies.
You will respond to incoming Supply Discrepancy Reports received from outside activities related to TRIREFFAC’s stocked items.
You will perform quality control tasks required to ensure quality of supply processes.
You will perform surveys and studies of supply methods and operations to diagnose and eliminate errors
You will prepare charts/graphs/reports depicting key supply department performance indicators, e.g., effectiveness and trend analysis
You will compile quality control data and prepares required periodic and special reports for distribution locally and externally

- You will operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts and industrial tractors in the movement of materials during quality control/process validation functions.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience performing scheduled and unscheduled audits and reconciliation on stock material processes and stock records, utilizing both Navy ERP and locally developed programs.
Experience analyzing and reconciling material and documentation discrepancies with the objective of eliminating the root cause of errors.
Experience researching and investigating selected processes to determine adherence to directives.
Experience coordinating research of Navy ERP records and managing actions related to SDRs with employees across all divisions of the supply department to ensure accurate responses within required timeframes.
Experience performing quality control tasks necessary to ensure the quality of supply processes arising from the interaction of Navy ERP and local programs and applications.
