You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the SUBSAT SECTION (TRF-5211) WATERFRONTS SUPPORT BRANCH (TRF-5210) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will coordinate DLRs/MTRs, which fall under ATAC Program that provides trace ability/accountability. You will establish centralized retrograde and ensures accurate reporting to inventory control points for ail retrograde material processing. You will perform carcass tracking functions for TYCOM by monitoring carcasses due, following up on overdue carcasses receiving and processing carcasses turned in to insure proper recording in automated files. You will maintain Carcass Tracking Program through electronic Retrograde Management System, NAVICP in Transit Accountability and Web MRIL Reporting Systems. You will prepare weekly management reports for the Carcass Tracking Program to include Due-in/Overdue Carcasses, potential supplemental billing and reversal of carcass charges. You will review and provide status on quarterly reports from TYCOM. You will assist supervisor in planning and directing operations necessary for supply support of all production material requirements. You will assist TYCOM in developing and recommending fleet repairable material management policy. You will attend meetings and conference concerning repairable polices and program at various command. You will analyze, evaluate and take action to increase fleet wide and individual unit participation and effectiveness in research and develops solutions and recommendations to problems where research outside TRIREFFAC is required. You will provide recommendations and supporting documentation/evidence to off-site stations to include overseas tenders for appropriate supply action needed.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

GS- 07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience coordinating Depot Level Repairables (DLRs) to provide trace accountability, ensuring accurate reporting to inventory control points. Experience performing carcass tracking functions by monitoring due and overdue carcasses, as well as researching follow-up inquiries. Experience maintaining the carcass tracking program through the Electronic Retrograde Management System (ERMS), NAVICP In Transit-Accountability (NITA), and Web MRIL Reporting Systems (WRMS). Experience demonstrating knowledge of specialized support systems, including FEDLOG and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP). Experience providing supply coordination in the Waterfront Support Branch to ensure coherent documentation, procedures, and references are readily available.
