You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Business Acq Office Financial Management, Technical Division of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
Duties
You will input planning requests into TRBO and Navy ERP based on requirements submitted by branch engineers and program managers.
You will provide financial support to the Planning Procurement Strategy Meeting (PPSM) of contract acquisitions.
You will assist BFM in configuration management with Branch BFR and BOD budget packages to help justify and defend program requirements.
You will verbally, and in writing, defend the program's position with minimum guidance.
You will attend Program Management Reviews (to include PRR, TDRs, etc) to provide financial management support.
You will apply financial judgment in process of funds management and execution with minimal guidance.
You will solve funds issues and reconciliation problems with within ERP that are applicable to the branch’s approved funding.
You will coordinate, compose, and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) utilizing NERP financial system, to include proper documentation for processing PRs to
execute in ERP (i.e., reimbursable, contracts, direct cite, etc.).
You will provide financial data reports using TRBO, Navy ERP, EDA with minimal guidance.
You will respond to taskers from Comptroller for DON/OSD/PB budget exhibits, Congressional Staffer questions, Resource Sponsor questions, and any budget
related questions regarding the Continuing Resolution Authority (CRA), contract awards, etc.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band(GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: researching and analyzing data to develop reports and plans, make recommendations and resolve discrepancies for effective financial management program execution.
