Duties
You will analyze data for various financial reports (e.g., budget formulation, budget execution, accounting, audit readiness).
You will conduct financial planning and budgeting analysis for organizational programs.
You will manage and evaluate command financial records using the Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS) or similar system.
You will manipulate data in the Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS) or similar system.
You will maintain accounting documents, transactions, and adjustments as source documentation for audits.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating, developing, and issuing operational and technical guidance for financial feeder systems, processes, and procedures; fiscal appropriations; and fiscal law for transactions within financial management systems (e.g. Standard Accounting Budgeting Reporting System (SABRS)).

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on an equivalent combination of education and experience as follows:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
or
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent.
