Duties
As a Supervisory Budget Analyst, you will:
Formulate, present, and justify the annual program budgets and S&E in support of the President's Budget request for programs within the Office of Housing.
Review, analyze, and prepare requests for apportionments, allotments, continuing resolution requirements, and other budgetary authority requests.
Advise the Office of Housing programs on maximizing use of available budgetary resources.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Leading a team in the development of policies, systems, and procedures for budgeting and managing funds; AND
Providing guidance and oversight of a full range of budgetary functions and duties associated with all phases of the budget process ( e.g., formulation, presentation, and execution); AND
Interpreting and applying policies and precedents to assure compliance with all governing laws and regulations ( e.g., Appropriation Law); AND
Providing direction and solutions to managers/official on budget and operating estimates.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
