You will serve as the Service Cost Center (SCC) Manager in the South Florida Ocean Measurement Facility (SFOMF) of CARDEROCK DIV NS. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. NT-5 salary range: $99,200 to $153,354. The salary range is capped at the GS-13 Step 10 $153,354.

Duties

You will develop the yearly budget and unit rate memo for submission to the Comptroller. You will develop plans and schedules, estimate resource requirements, define milestones and deliverables, monitor activities, evaluate, and report on the work. You will provide advice and guidance to top managers, who are responsible for effectively and economically managing the work or program/project development and operations. You will manage daily operations of the Service Cost Center (SCC) in the South Florida Ocean Measurement Facility (SFOMF) during the year of execution. You will oversee the required SCC resources (i.e. space allocation, personnel, quality of like of equipment). You will maintain key supporting documentation that supports each cost redistribution account (CRA) upload file.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying analytical and evaluative methods to manage the administrative and operational functions of multiple business projects (i.e. funding, cost estimating, schedule development, proposal development, report writing etc.).
