Duties
Plan, coordinate and develop procedures for executing the Command's program and budget system
Conduct independent budget analysis
Perform resource management functions
Exercise daily fund control and resource management
Serve as liaison with higher headquarters concerning budget administration activities
Provide technical and/or administrative guidance to the Command staff and subordinate commanders
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a Level 2 Financial Management Certificate.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: Work that includes: detailed knowledge of procedures and requirements to formulate, edit, consolidate, and justify budget estimates, and adjust data in related forms and schedules to execute the command's budget; work with various appropriations, ensure that command programs are financed correctly; and organizing and analyzing financial data to develop recommendations concerning budget estimates and allocation of resources. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
