You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF.

Duties

You will design business metrics and gather data to identify benchmarks to conduct analysis of organizational programs, functions, processes, and operating procedures. You will assess current business and management programs, operations, and processes and plan methods to improve effectiveness and efficiency. You will define best practices and develop new standards of operations. You will administratively supervise positions assigned to support senior level management officials within the Production Resources Department. You will create evaluation reports, point papers, plans, implement schedules, related procedures, and management controls based on analyses. You will lead, participate on and/or collaborate with supervisors, senior managers, as part of a cross functional team to formulate goals and objectives to accomplish specific projects and programs.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • Stooping, kneeling, bending, and walking on stairs and uneven surfaces may be required.
  • You must be able to go shipboard, travel up/down vertical ladders, lift and carry items such as supplies or manuals that may weigh between 5 and 25 pounds.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating management and business program operations and conducting studies for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of policies and procedures to enhance the design and implementation process improvement initiatives.
