You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (POLICY PLAN) in the INTEL/INFO WARFARE/COMMS DEPARTMENT of NAVY EXPEDITIONARY WARFIGHTING DEV CTR.
Duties
You will share in the direction of the directorate work, provide long-term continuity, and assume all directorate leadership function in the absence of the Director of Information/Intelligence/Networks and Communications.
You will exercise full range of supervisory and personnel management authorities and responsibilities in directing information,
You will provide day-to-day direction, guidance, and technical assistance.
You will lead the development of long-range goals and objectives and exercise authority in planning, directing, managing and executing department missions and responsibilities.
You will plan, direct, and control activities relating to information.
You will develop, implement, and ensure compliance with plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures that establish the framework for the management.
You will participate in seminars, forums, workshops, fleet collaborative teams, curriculum alignment, doctrine, or other activities.
You will exercise significant responsibilities in dealing with officials of other directorates, and other high-ranking officials and make recommendations on non-routine training needs.

- Position may require periodic overtime/compensatory work cycles during holiday periods and weekends.
- This position requires infrequent travel CONUS and OCONUS in order to support NECF coordination, training and alignment initiatives. (15%)

- This position has been designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position in specialty area 801 (Program Manager) and incumbents of this position are required to comply with the DON Cyber IT/CSWF program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2
- You must earn and maintain appropriate credentials from the Cyber IT/CSWF Qualification Matrix associated with the specialty area and level commensurate with the scope of major assigned duties for the position to which you are assigned.
- You must participate in a continuous learning program as described in SECNAVINST 1543.2.
- You must complete a minimum of 40 hours of Cyber IT/CSWF related continuous learning annual documented in a current individual development plan (IDP) signed by both the employee and supervisor.
Qualifications
GS-13:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience and understanding of NECC forces command structure, units' organizations, missions
Experience leading and directing information warfare, networks and communications operations.
Experience and knowledge in Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Information (C4I) systems; tactical communications systems
Experience and knowledge of Live Virtual and Constructive (LVC) training and the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE)
Experience and knowledge of information methodology, information technology, computer capabilities and processing techniques to perform planning and oversight
Experience and knowledge and experience in leading change, leading and motivating people, and team building.
AND Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
