About the Position: This position is a TERM NTE 3 Year position with the US Army Combined Arms Center located in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Vets training provider by contacting agencies to include but not limited to state approving agencies, institutions of higher learning, and training institutions.
Responsible for records management of the credentialing email and file administration for the program. Maintains tracker on all received CA requests and on-boards agencies/institutions upon request into the database system.
Reviews documentation to ensure propriety of payment and files documents pending receipt of invoices and receiving reports.
Analyzes/researches discrepancies of documentation; i.e., money amount on invoice does not match amount on SF182, item numbers, and incorrect/invalid addresses.
Primary point of contact for customers. Consults, contacts by telephone, by email or by ArmyIgnitED / Help Desk messaging with service members receiving activities, contractors/vendors, and a variety of other Government and outside agency personnel.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Term employment is subject to a one year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Reviewing and processing voluntary Education Credentialing Assistance (CA) funding requests in agency automated systems. 2) Utilizing agency automated systems e.g., Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) to research and determine prerequisite requirements and/or standards that support agency funding requests. 3) Reviewing and processing agency Training Provider/Vendor applications in agency automated systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as education. (Note you must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
