Duties
This position serves as the Deputy Commander, Junior ROTC Directorate, U.S. Army Cadet Command.
Serve as the key assistant to the Command, Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC), with full responsibility to provide day-to-day oversight and staff supervision over actions relating to Cadet command Wide training.
Responsible for the oversight and management of the personnel records of 4000 JROTC instructors at over 1700 schools worldwide, ensuring that information is available and updated in each file.
Supervise and manage development, planning, coordination and implementation of the administration and assessment of the training program for over 4000 JROTC instructors.
Independently plan and administer programs and activities, setting overall policies, objectives, time frames, and procedures necessary for program accomplishments and effective management to accomplish the director’s mission.
The scope of operations is primary in designing, developing, reviewing, implementing, coordinating, conducting, evaluating, and validating the JROTC Instructor certification program.
