About the Position: This position is located with U.S. Army Cadet Command, 7th Brigade, JROTC in Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Duties

Calculate budget requirements for training. Provide instructor support, training and evaluation. Execute the implementation of new programs. Review and approve training schedules for compliance with regulations. Coordinate training camp operations and activities.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 50 - 70% of the time.
• May be required to serve a one year probationary period.

Conduct inspections of training programs to ensure that it meets government standards for training and education. Identifying Possible solutions to improve or correct training programs. Advise about policies and procedures of education and training programs and assist in the implementation. Create various reports such as enrollment or graduation rates and analyze the data to answer questions or assist with decisions. Performs administrative functions for the coordination of classes, drills or camps for the program. Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this position you may qualify if your education meets the definition below:

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree (MUST provide Transcripts).

Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

Combining Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade levels specified in the table, and may be computed by first determining the applicant's total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determining the applicant's education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; and then adding the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level. Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at grades GS-9 and GS-11. (When crediting education that requires specific course work, prorate the number of hours of related courses required as a proportion of the total education to be used.) (MUST provide Transcripts)
