About the Position: Serves as a Branch Chief of a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) producing course, responsible for all instruction associated with (92A) Advanced Individual Training, functional course training and training developments. Plans, directs, and coordinates training of military personnel in assigned instructional areas.

Duties

Responsible for all instruction associated with (92A) Advanced Individual Training, functional course training and training developments. Plans, directs, and coordinates training of military personnel in assigned instructional areas. Performs a variety of administrative and technical duties in connection with basic and specialized phases of MOS training. Serves as an instructor in several fields presenting instruction to (92A) AIT students. Directs and supervises implementation of changes in operations directed by Division Chief/ Course Manager.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG).
