About the Position: This position with the United States Army Reserve Command, Mission Support, G-8, Pay Management Division, Pay Division located at Indianapolis, Indiana.
Duties
Develop mid and long range plans for pay processing operations.
Responsible for organizational performance analysis and adjusting organizational structure as needed to meet emerging missions.
Serve as Reserve Pay Officer for the United States Army Reserve (USAR) Pay Center.
Direct development and testing of internal and external financial systems and processes for military pay.
Represent the organization to the installation and senior officials of external organizations.
Provide technical oversight of the Reserve Military Pay Branch.
Supervise the daily operations of the Reserve Pay Analysis Branch.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires DoD Financial Management Certification Program Level 2.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying public laws, statutes, and regulatory programs concerning financial systems analysis; developing policy and procedures concerning military pay; analyzing financial management data and financial management systems; writing instructions and procedures on regulatory policies; providing oral presentations on policies, new programs and procedures.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
