You will serve as a Security Specialist in the NAWCAD Security Department/Divisions of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will serve as a team leader who works with team members to successfully complete specific tasks, produce work products and services, and meet program objectives.
You will apply leadership, team building, and group facilitation skills.
You will coach team members, coordinate work assignments, and solve technical problems.
You will lead the team in identifying, distributing and balancing the workload among employees to accommodate the workflow and team members’ skill levels and technical specializations
You will be accountable for outcomes and results including timely delivery of quality work products and services.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or pay band DA-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Performing contract management actions as the assigned Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) (2) Interfacing with internal and external contacts to provide advice, guidance and assistance regarding contract actions, requirements and status. (3) Applying complex information, personnel, operations, and industrial security methods, principles, and practices to an organization; (4) Coordinating security training on various subjects relative to proper protection of classified military information (CMI) and controlled unclassified information (CUI).
