YOU WILL SERVE AS A SECURITY SPECIALIST IN THE DIGITAL ANALYTICS INFAND TECH ADV GROUP. WARFARE EFFECTIVENESS DEPT. ENHANCED SECURITIES DIV OF NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is equivalent to GS-14, Step 10: $139,395 - $181, 216

Duties

You will manage, direct, lead, develop, administer, or perform work within one or more security disciplines such as information, physical, communications, operations, foreign disclosure, personnel security and research technology protection. You will provide Physical Security support for the requirements of all AD15 customers in accordance with all DoD, Navy, IC and other related policies. You will provide technical and professional knowledge, gained through advanced security education and extensive work experience, to provide trusted influence over all physical security program. You will ensure the organizations strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work product services.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain required certification and/or license as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band DA-05 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Expert knowledge of ICD 705 Technical Security documentation and security procedures; 2) Experience leading a team with multiple projects concurrently; 3) Clear written and oral communication; 4) Ability to effectively communicate with customers at high levels.
