You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Warfare Effectiveness Department, Enhanced Security Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will oversee and provide continuity of security for facility, personnel, visitor control, document control, and equipment.
You will advise and support the Program Manager and NAVAIR Senior Leadership Team, members of acquisition program requirements, policies, procedures and vulnerabilities throughout the program timeline.
You will be responsible for preparation, review and evaluation of technology program protection system documentation and accreditations to ensure adequate security protection is provided in accordance with all program security protection policies.
You will support and utilize Automated Information Systems in the development of Program Security Protection documentation.
You will conduct security inspections of facilities involved in special security Test and Evaluation programs; provide guidance to personnel on matters concerning sanitization and utilization of special program information.
You will assist in the development of security paperwork, policy enforcement, and participate as a team member of the security education and training program.
You will report, investigate and/or adjudicate security violations and compromises as directed.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band (DA-05) or grade level (GS-12-13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Overseeing and providing continuity of security for facility, personnel, visitor control, document control ,and all other security requirements; 2) Ensuring that access to program security information is limited to cleared team members in accordance with applicable directives, statutes, and instructions for handling of classified/sensitive Data; 3) Providing security management, policy guidance, and support to personnel on all matters pertaining to protection program security procedures for special projects throughout the program life cycle; 4) Managing facility security requirements in accordance with industry (e.g. Intelligence Community Technical Specifications/ICD 705) and other physical security mandates; and 5) Managing personnel security actions required for access eligibility
