You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of ASN.

Duties

You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization. You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provides recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas. You will serve as senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization. You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing integrated financial management systems and sub-systems, and Order-to-Cash business processes. Evaluating business processes for optimizing efficiency within Financial Management systems. Experience using analytical and evaluative methods in order to assess and measure effectiveness of financial management business processes, to identify gaps or conflicts in financial reporting activities, consolidate findings and recommending alternatives. Experience using program and process analysis, management reporting procedures and available system capabilities to resolve operating problems and providing statistical data or other management information reports.
