You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Strategic System Design & Implementation Division; Strategic & Computing Systems Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Duties
You will lead program analysis tasks for the A10/A20 Divisions physical security program environment to include information technology environments and facilities.
You will provide support to the Submarine-Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) program in the areas of physical security to include inspections and audits.
You will identify operational gaps and promote awareness of program security issues among management and ensure sound security principles are reflected in organizational mission and goals.
You will lead collaboration efforts with internal and external stakeholders regarding current, future, and proposed policies and changes.
You will lead the development and presentation of policies and procedures regarding security programs, implementation recommendations, and the status of initiatives in accordance with Strategic Systems Programs policies and procedures.
You will perform market research to stay abreast of technological developments and make effective use of technology to achieve results and conduct analysis and evaluate methods and techniques on processes.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete a polygraph examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing program analysis and research of policy and procedures in support of a physical security program to ensure efficiency or compliance of program operations and processes.
