Duties
You will directly interface with the IT and AM LAB (Innovation, Technology and Additive Manufacturing Laboratory) Team, port engineers, ships force, and other DoD activities on new technology which may impact naval surface ship maintenance.
You will consult, confer, advise, and participate on topics covering a wide range of IT and AM LAB Team issues such as changing workload, local production support, direct program support, etc.
You will establish the technical processes by which the IT and AM LAB Team determines testing procedures, documents results, and ensures quality, repeatability, and reliability.
You will coordinate tasks within the IT and AM LAB Team based on Team member’s expertise and level of competence.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
*Experience utilizing additive manufacturing technology to assess and troubleshoot issues and repair machines, equipment, or systems along with proper storage of additive materials.
*Experience developing Technical Data Packages (TDPs) for new and/or improved parts for ships and reverse engineer parts and design improvements.
*Experience analyzing the differing properties and characteristics of common materials used for additive manufacturing models.
*Experience utilizing parts prototyping plans and layouts and AutoCAD, Solid Works applications and Slicer software.
GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
