You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the ACQUISTION & READINESS ASSESSMENT DEPTARTMENT, OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.
This is not a high-grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $156,323.00)
Duties
You will serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the Acquisition and Readiness (AR) Department Operations.
You will ensure the department's purpose and vision align with the larger purpose and vision of the NSWC Corona organization.
You will assist and collaborate with the Department Operations Manager in documenting, maintaining, executing, and improving department processes for management of projects.
You will develop metrics to monitor the efficiency of the business process towards accomplishing department goals utilizing data analytics / advance visualization.
You will continuously monitor metrics and identify process improvements to increase business process efficiencies, workforce effectiveness, and customer/employee satisfaction.
You will provide oversight of contractor performance and contract execution to ensure financial and technical compliance with the contract terms and conditions.
You will maintain required documentation to support monitoring contractor performance, including COR Status Report(s), formal correspondence, invoice substantiations, monitoring contract deliverables, and issuance of Technical Instructions.
You will conduct studies, extrapolate data and make recommendations on substantive operating programs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing program management and analysis of projects by identifying, analyzing, and monitoring metrics to recommend improvements regarding contract department processes for an organization.
